Got there Saturday morning (via the usual sort the dog out, fill the car with guff and go to screwfix) with our overnight bags ready for a two night stay to increase productivity. I'm aware I'm a bit pants with the blog updates, so in case I haven't told you, we have a bed, a kitchen and some deck chairs - all the home comforts.
Saturday = rain = install ceiling until no more ceiling materials available (including realising the big bits of wood we bought for the service void cover in the ceiling are a little industriual and using reversed tongue and groove instead)
In between on Saturday = blow up air bed as we've not bought a mattress yet and I was too pikey to buy a pump
Saturday evening = air mattress has puncture = try and fix with any random sticky stuff
Saturday night = pub, beer, food, more beer, sleep
Early hours of Sunday morning = wake up in the middle of the night, air bed has gone flat = regret making a bed with slats rather than a sheet of wood
Sunday morning = ouch - slats are really bad for hips, knees, backs etc etc
Sunday 10am = arrive at Tesco for new air bed AND pump
Sunday = Paul weld, strop, stress, run out of gas = Kate keeps busy, some blacking, wire brushing, painting and stuff
Sunday evening = Kate cook, drink beer, sleep, pumped up mattress = happy
Monday morning = Paul bugger off for hours to go and get his Dad who's coming to help with the blacking (on his birthday as well!), Kate gets jiggy with lots of power tools :-D
Monday = Daddy Catch (aka Mr C, aka Gren) does lots of painting; Baby Catch (aka Paul, aka lots of other names that I wouldn't repeat) also paints and wanders around a lot because Kate has taken over the power tools; Kate power tools! (I have no earthly idea what has been painted on this boat in the past, but it's a little bit of b1tch to get off, to say the least)
Anyway, it's 3 days in to the 9 day boat work extravaganza. I'd like to say I'll blog again before the week's out, but I may be too broken.
So, I know the words bore some of you blog readers (if there are any out there), so here's a couple of pictures....
Kate cooking dinner in front of the telly. (Note the kitchen, hob, cooker, morco, ceiling etc)

Daddy Catch getting busy with a paintbrush

It nearly looks like a boat!
