Finally at the fit-out location!

Yup, we've made it down the last stretch to take up the mooring I won on auction, at Lowsonford.

It's from here the rest of the inside will get fitted out, hopefully over the next two months up to Christmas. It'd be good to get it nailed before the start of the post-Christmas stoppages which affect both Hatton and the South Stratford locks, above us, towards Kingswood. We'll see eh?



We did have a moment in the last lock before the above - the throttle cable came loose and left the boat with tickover in reverse only, meaning the front fender was put to good use in bouncing off the gate... :) Kate very nearly came a cropper getting caught up in the stern rope but managed to get away with it, a good thing or it could've been nasty...
