Not much going on!

Well, that's the truth!

We've been busy (ish) with work this week, and still feeling a bit iffy. I'm on the mend, and Kate's getting worse, so we've been skiving off a bit early and taking it easy.

It's Kate's birthday tomorrow, 31 (she says, but I reckon she's caught me up!) but not looking a day over 20, or 18, if you go by the amount of times she gets IDd buying alcohol etc. We're both fairly broke at the moment, so she's got a range of small pressies from me, some practical, some less so! :)

This weekend will have me sorting out the flooring on the walls, that's changed shape, and then working on the electricity - lights and the like. We've had a big parcel turn up today full of lamps, fittings and switches, most exciting. Need to repair the gennie too, with a new carb and pull cord.

Kate's off to visit her relatives on Sat, so I'm onboard the good ship CreamCheese on my own. Looking forward to getting the fire lit!
